What is the diffence between a Water Jet and a Roto?
The difference between a water jet and a roto is the services. A water jet is high pressure (4000psi) jet of water that will clean the entire pipe and push all of the debris out of the line. A roto is a commercial sized power snake that has blades on the end to help cut threw roots and grab any debris that is in the line (ex. Baby wipes). The roto is not recommend for lines that have a lot of soap and grease build up. The reason for this is because the soap and grease are like jell-o and the roto will only cut threw them, not clean the line. For soap and grease build up we recommend a water jet.
How often should I have my septic tank pumped?
We recommend that a septic tank be pumped every 3 to 4 years depending on the number of people in the household. Pumping the tank every 3 to 4 years will be cost effective preventative maintenance to ensure the system's life.
